Disaster Medical Response Team
Established in 1992, is comprised of professional and para-professional medical personnel, supported by a cadre of logistical and administrative staff, designed to provide medical care during disasters and other large-scale events. The Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Disaster Medical Response Team (DMRT) deployments include:

- 1998 – Watertown/Cape Vincent, NY – Ice Storms
- 1999 – JFK Airport, NYC – EgyptAir Flight 990
- 2001 – NYC – World Trade Center
- 2001 – JFK Airport, NYC – American Airlines 587
- 2005 – Biloxi, Mississippi and Southern Louisiana – Hurricanes Katrina & Rita
- 2012 – Rockaway and Howard Beach, NY – Superstorm Sandy
- 2017 – Puerto Rico – Hurricane Maria
- 2020 – Puerto Rico – Earthquakes
- 2022 – Southwest Florida – Hurricane Ian
